What Dreams May Come
Starring Robin Williams
Many religions had a lot of controversial things to say about this film because it seemed to glorify suicide and reincarnation. While I
agree that once we leave this earth there is no returning, and suicide is not the answer to any of life's problems, I have to tell you
that this film truly depicts the torment a soul feels when one grieves the death of a loved one. Because one can't help but feel
the deep emotions portrayed in this film, it becomes a great tool for helping others deal with their own grief.
When a loved one dies, your entire world is turned upside down. The pain is unbearable. And sometimes, suicide seems like the only answer. The
only choice to ending the pain.
What Dreams May Come reminds us that suicide is not the answer. Suicide will not solve our problems and it will only cause
more pain for the ones we leave behind, not to mention those waiting our arrival in heaven.
