INDY STAR
A Grief Poem
By V. Villaseñor

Your face and memory is etched inside
Of windblown sceneries in my mind
Your touch is soft and gentle and sweet
The accentuating shape of your little feet
The smell of you suddenly fills my day
To only have it fleet away
The cooing sounds you've made so quaint
Deep blue eyes piercing me so strong I faint
Daydreams of daisies, sunflowers and sundress strings
Visions of you dancing in spring
I close my mind and there you are
My beautiful blue-eyed
Indy Star
